50 Bullet Journal Habit Tracker Ideas For Your Next Spread

Are you ready to start a new habit tracker in your bullet journal?

If you are planning to change your habits or stick to the ones you already have, you should definitely start looking for habit tracker ideas!

What is a habit tracker?

A habit tracker is a Bullet Journal spread you design to keep track of daily, weekly or monthly habits. For example, running, drinking enough water, reading or drawing.

When it comes to tracking your habits, the sky is the limit! You have complete freedom to track whatever you want.

I personally track my workouts, reading, working on my blog, drawing, and movies. There’s literally a whole world of possibilities.

Sticking to a habit is not easy, especially when you’re starting. This is where your habit tracker comes in handy. By writing your daily behaviors and routines you will be more aware of the decisions you make and hold yourself accountable for what you do every day.

If you implement a new healthy habit in your life, you will see improvements in your well being and self-esteem, because you will get a huge sense of achievement just by tracking it in your Bullet Journal.

This post is all about Bullet Journal habit tracker ideas you can use on your next spread to stay motivated and accomplish your goals!

Bullet Journal Tools

Before starting my own bullet journal, I spent several months scrolling through bullet journal Instagram accounts telling me that I needed a $30 journal and a $50 worth pack of markers if I wanted to start a bullet journal. But you can actually do the same for a lot less!

If you’re just starting out on your BuJo journey, you don’t need to spend hundreds of money on professional tools as a lot of established bullet journals recommend you. Instead, I got more affordable options that do exactly the same:

Journal. I use this bullet journal I got for a really inexpensive price at Walmart. The pages are dotted, which makes it easier to draw straight lines and perfect squares. It has been designed exclusively for bullet journaling as you can see on the front cover. I think this is so cool because it reminds me of the old vintage journals. The pages are super great quality and they don’t bleed when you use markers or watercolors.

Pens. I use the Pigma Micron black finalizers for writing titles and lines. These are a bit more expensive than usual, but you can get a pack of 6 for a really good price at Walmart. Each one has a different size, so you can do everything with them and you won’t need to purchase any other pens. When bullet journaling, pens are probably the thing that you’re going to use the most, so investing in good ones from the beginning is a great idea. I SWEAR by these pens and I’m so glad I got them.

Markers. I personally prefer minimalist bullet journals with clean spreads, so I’m not a big fan of markers. However, I add small touches of color here and there and I do it with my favorite pastel markers. If you like decorating your bullet journal with a lot of colors I highly recommend investing in a pack of good quality markers.

Stickers. Adding stickers into your bullet journal is the easiest and quickest way to decorate it. If you aren’t good at drawing, you can substitute drawings for stickers – or you can combine both!
