Too often I hear people (mostly girls) saying they can’t / nor want to go to the beach because they “aren’t ready yet” because they “don’t have a beach body”.
It makes me so sad to see that so many women reject wearing a swimsuit -or simply going to the beach- because they wouldn’t feel comfortable in that situation. As if they weren’t good “enough” for that cute bikini they love, just because of how they look.
Well, let me tell you one secret: you only need a beach and a body to get a beach body. That’s it, and whoever tells you otherwise is toxicly contributing to body shaming. This has to stop.
Absolutely EVERYONE has the right to feel good in their own bodies and enjoy the beach on a hot Summer day. We shouldn’t say “no” to any piece of clothing just because of how we look. Clothing is for everyone!
We’ve been told we can’t wear certain pieces of clothing if we have a certain look, weight, height or age because it wouldn’t be socially accepted. And this is totally fake. Let’s embrace ourselves and love our bodies as they are, with their flaws and imperfections, because that is what makes us unique!
It’s been a few months since I started making money on my Etsy shop, so I thought it was about time to share my tips and tricks with you after this interesting experience.
This is the story about how I made $600 on Etsy (after a strong “trial and error” game):
I remember when I started at university the worst part was to move away from home.
Getting away from everything that was familiar to me and going to live in a big city was a bit scary. But anyway, I still felt excited and curious about new people and new beginnings.
After two years in college, I’ve finally made it to set up a list with the things that make my life sooo much easier as a college student. I highly recommend them to new college students but also to all those students who struggle to keep their life together (you’re not alone).
I’ve been willing to show you my outfits for college and start this new section on the blog called “college outfit ideas”.
In case you didn’t know: you can make money blogging!
If you recently started a blog (I show you the exact steps to start a profitable blog here) the next step is setting it up for bussiness!
In the past, I always used to see all those famous bloggers making tons of money every month, but I thought you needed thousands of followers in social media and hundreds of views in order to generate an income from it. Of couse, I didn’t have that amount of followers (I currently have less than 500 followers on Instagram) and my blog traffic was very low (less than 800 monthly views), so I just let it go and thought I wasn’t good enough to make money with it.
I started my old blog 6 years ago, and it wasn’t until 2 months ago (when I switched to a self-hosted blog) that I realized you could actually MAKE MONEY as a small blogger too!
In just 30 days I had made my first $160 blogging. I felt so extremely proud of myself, and it also motivated me to keep blogging more and more because I knew if I put effort in what I did it would pay off.
While I certainly don’t know everything, I’ve learned a lot since I started, and I can tell you it is possible. Everyone can make money blogging.
In this post I’ll be sharing with you the strategies I used to turn my little blog into a little income-producing business.
I feel like 2017 was a good year in terms of reading.
It was also a year of growth and lots of new experiences (both good and bad, but mostly bad), so I felt like I needed some help -or at least some answers-. Something to show me what path I should follow from there on.
As a bookworm that I am, I recurred to books.
PS: never underestimate the power of a good book.
